Sophia Rodriguez

Nice to meet you! I am a Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a background of Child Development. I am passionate about working with women who want to gain control and power back from their life changes, grief, anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts. I want to help you find yourself again!

I works from a combination of a psychodynamic approach and an evidence-based orientation with a faith based approach, utilizing skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Community Reliance Model (CRM) while diving deeper into your past experiences and spiritual connection. I use a collaborative and strengths-based approach with clients to assist them in coping with worry and regaining power and choice in their lives.

My Approach

Therapy starts with the relationship between client and clinician first and foremost. I am deeply passionate about forming a genuine relationship with all my clients. While working with me, you will feel safe, comfortable, and authentically YOU. I create a warm space and consistently use humor, compassion, and patience to help you create a space where we can both work together. I am driven by my genuine curiosity and care for every single client. I can’t wait to meet you nd learn what make you, you!
